The AeroV Team
AeroV Financial’s founding members are seasoned veterans in the equipment finance industry. They are also highly experienced pilots with thousands of hours of flight experience in everything from helicopters and taildraggers to seaplanes and fast jets, in addition to being Part 107 certificated Remote Pilots. They know financing and they know aviation, and the commercial ROV industry in particular. They have combined their passions for equipment finance and aviation in AeroV Financial. Mark Belanger
CEO
Mark has an in-depth level of experience in the fields of banking, finance, technology and equipment leasing both domestically and overseas. In addition to being a former Air Force officer, he has been the thought leader behind many initiatives in the very competitive finance industry to both grow business and also build internal teams and systems that have heavily emphasized a customer first culture.
He has been a managing director of one of Europe’s largest equipment leasing companies.
In addition, Mark has served as a bank lending officer domestically, who lead the effort to create a warm, friendly atmosphere in his facility that focused on customer satisfaction and long-term relationships. Mark is excited to bring his many years of experience in banking, equipment finance/leasing to the rapidly growing ROV community.
Vince Borst
President
Vince is a pilot and practicing attorney who has a vast background in the world of aviation and equipment leasing. He holds a commercial pilot certificate with airplane single engine (land/sea), instrument, multi-engine (land), helicopter and remote pilot ratings. Vince is also an airplane flight instructor, with single, multi-engine and instrument ratings, and an advanced and instrument ground instructor.
In his role as an attorney, he represents banks and equipment leasing companies in setting up and structuring their equipment lease businesses. He is a member and active contributor to the Equipment Leasing and Finance Association as well as the American Bar Association’s Air & Space Forum and AOPA, where he participates in the legal services program representing pilots in FAA enforcement actions.
As an avid drone enthusiast, Vince has owned and flown a variety of models and is active in the ROV community. With his business and legal experience, he looks forward to helping ROV operators across all industries achieve their financing goals.
